If there's one thing that's clear; the entire Palin family DEFINITELY knows how to work photo ops! Like having the bf fly over from Alaska to be at Palin's speech. How about having him & Bristol greet McCain on his arrival? Bristol's underage pregnancy is actually the best & worst thing that could have happened to the campaign.

Ironically, what people DON'T seem to realize is that, in Alaska, underage pregnancies are considered a "normal" part of life. Sad, considering it's supposed to be one of our 50 states & we get all hyped up about the Mormons getting 14 year olds pregnant, yet we don't say anything about our Alaskan residents.

I'm in independent, so just expressing my views of the situation.

First, I'm an independent, a mother and a working woman; not a crazy liberal like I see said of anyone who questions Sarah Pailin.  I understand that many people are outrage that so much negative attention is being paid to Bristol Pailin and I truly feel for her, however, the person to blame here is her mother.  Sarah Pailin put "Country first" over her family when she decided her career was more important then her daughter’s privacy or mental well being.   Any thoughtful mother with a pregnant teen (who actually knows about the pregnancy) who goes on to run for a national political office as important as vice president should have the foresight that this will happen to her daughter and decide whether it's worth it.  What is sad is that Sarah Pailin it did not put her child first.  For those of you who thing this should not be an issue I understand where you're coming from, unfortunately Sarah Pailin opened herself up to this kind of scrutiny by continuously putting her family on display. Blame her.

Why is it always the mother's fault? The daughter was the one who chose to have sex, not her mother.
