Jennie Garth, 36-year-old celebrity mom, tells People magazine that she faced "six months of hell." The actress plays fashionista Kelly Taylor on the new "90210" show. After her time on "Dancing With the Stars," Jennie was all buff from months of grueling dance practice, but came face to face with a parent's nightmare. Her 5-year-old daughter Lola "got very sick and we didn't know what was wrong with her." Jennie has 3 daughters with her husband Peter Facinelli.
"It turned out to be a form of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. We treated her and it's in remission." Also within that 6-month period, her father died. "I didn't think about my looks or my weight or my body or anything." She gained weight and dress sizes, but she's back to her regular self now that she's on 90210.
Glad to know that Lola is okay, Jennie. And good to have you back, even if 90210 is getting iffy reviews. Not that the original was all that memorable, mind you.
