Colin Firth, the object of many a woman's desires, says that he doesn't like kids. I know, right? And he has kids of his own! He has William, 17, from ex Meg Tilly. And there's Luca, 7, and Matteo, 5, with wife Livia Giuggioli.
Actually, what he said was that he doesn't like OTHER people's children. "Sometimes I absolutely loathe them," he says. "Children are just people who haven't lived very long yet."
Wow, that's deep, Colin. Clearly, there's a lot more going on between those ears than I previously thought.
"I'm predisposed to be affectionate if someone's smaller, but if they're loathsome in the first five minutes, they're loathsome." I have to agree with that one. I'm kind of the same way. I, too, think other people's kids can be really obnoxious. In fact, I hated children until I had my own girls.
Colin and I are similar in other ways, though. I have a fondness for ABBA that I'm not ashamed to talk about. And I'm an international sex symbol, just like Colin. I just don't get paid for it. Nor recognized for it.
