Surprisingly, there are conflicting reports on Britney's reaction to her mom's book, "Through The Storm". Some say that she is furious, others say that she is all right with it. In her book Lynne Spears blames her
daughter's former 'manager' Sam Lutfi for her troubles - accusing him
of working his way into Spears' life and attempting to cut her off from
her loved ones. I have yet to read it, so I don't know if she addresses the fact that she wasn't as good of a mother as she thought she was. Sam Lufti wasn't around when Britney was 14 and losing her virginity and doing cocaine shortly thereafter.
We all knew that the book was coming, so Britney had to know that Lynne was writing it. I don't know about you all, but I think that I would be just a little ticked if my mom decided to write a tell all book about my past. Granted my past is just a little less fantastic than Britney's, but still I wouldn't want everyone to know my business. That's why I write about other people's business.
Spears was
recently reported to be "upset" about the tell-all book, blaming her
troubled past on her distant relationship with her mother.
But a spokesperson for Spears has denied the allegations, telling the New York Post, "This is false."
