Matthew McConaughey has always been known to be a free spirit kinda dude, and while some might find that endearing, some people don't. According to a source, McConaughey's Malibu neighbors have a problem with the star's boozing on the beach.
An insider tells Star mag, that the neighbors and Matt are feuding over his drinking on the beach. "Matt is rarely seen without a bottle or can of beer in his hand - he likes to unwind with friends. They surf and down beer after beer."
His neighbors want him to curb the boozing. "The kids who play on the beach think Matt's cool because he's in movies," adds the source.
However, the parents of those kids think he's not a great role model. "They don't want their sons and daughters watching Matt get tipsy. Matt thinks they are overreacing. He says he's a dad, too, and they should mind their own business."
Do the neighbors have a point or do they need to butt out? Or is Matt overindulging?
