What's going on with Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson? The former Dawson's Creek stars, "Joey and Pacey," and once upon a time real life lovers, were spotted spending time together recently. Does Tom Cruise know?
According to In Touch Weekly, "Katie's seeing her ex. The flowers, the phone calls, the emotional reunion with her first love."
Although Jackson has been dating Diane Kruger for two years, and Holmes is married to Tom Cruise and they have daughter Suri together, Joshua popped by and surprised Katie during one of her All My Sons rehearsals.
An insider said, "Josh arrived at the theater with flowers. They had coffee together in the back of the theater."
Grazia mag claims that the real reason behind the former lovers meeting, is that Joshua is concerned about Katie. A source said, "Katie has been looking skinny and depressed and, like any concerned friend, rather than do nothing Joshua wanted to check everything was OK. They haven't spoken in a while and, naturally, he was worried."
The visit included Jackson's greeting of, "Hello stranger," and Katie was excited to see him and "She gave him such a big hug."
Another source said that Jackson wanted to let Katie know that she still had friends her own age and that were not involved in Scientology. "Joshua made it clear she wasn't alone. He's not out to cause trouble. Her life is truly bizarre now, but having some firends supporting her who have nothing to do with her LA set-up could make all the difference.
"Josh would love to see Katie as the carefree and relaxed woman he once knew."
However, during recent interviews, while promoting his new series, Fringe, Joshua said of Katie, "I haven't spoken to her in two or three years. It's been a while since I spoke to Katie."
He was asked if the pair had had a falling out and said, "We never officially fell out of graces but once she got engaged or married, I think her life moved in a different direction."
