JLo Finishes Triathlon In 3.5 Hours (Photos)!!!

Posted by Sassy Smith

Months of training following the birth of her twins - Max and Emme - enabled Jennifer Lopez to partake in the Malibu Triathlon on Sunday September 14, with much success!  The celebrity mom swam, biked and ran and did it all in 3.5 hours!

More photos after the jump!

After crossing the finish line, Lopez said to onlookers, "Thank you guys so much.  This is an amazing day."

On JLo's recent Good Morning America appearance, the singer said, "I was beached like a whale.  I was watching TV, and I saw a triathlon and I said, 'You know what?  I think I could do that, that would be great for me to do.  Maybe I'll do it this year.'"

And I guess she did!  Congrats!

First of all...she completed it in 2:23.  It was a sprint.  One of her transitions took 6 min.

I am glad she raised money for a good cause, but please don't make doing a sprint triathlon sound like some undoable thing.

Do a sprint in under an hour (if you are a guy) and under 1:10 (if a gal) and then I will listen as to how difficult it was !

wake the f up.
