Josh Howard of the Dallas Mavericks (not to be confused with the popular Washington Mavericks) is currently lighting up YouTube with some some un-patriotic rhetoric.
Apparently Howard is not a fan of the National Anthem and says so.
According to VH-1's Best Week Ever, the talking heads on SportsCenter called Howard's video full of "shameful comments about the National Anthem and Obama."
BWE also quotes ESPN analysts as saying "the comments were so outrageous, they could ultimately end up hurting Obama come election time."
It's a big deal right?
Josh Howard, who has a 1-year-old son, may have looked like a total ass, but he's not even the biggest one involved in this story.
Read the comments on YouTube. They are full of hate and racism and scrawl so ignorant that they make Howard's comments seem intelligent by comparison.
Relatively speaking of course.
On the bright side, it's nice to see some of our commenters branching out and dropping their special brand of insight someplace besides my inbox- something that I'm sure will be remedied shortly.
