Britney's day in court just keeps getting longer, with no relief in sight.
The judge mediating over Britney's driving without a valid California license case, is set to go to trial, before a jury! For not having a California license, really, am I the only one that hasn't heard of this little consequence. Is it new?
Doesn't that seem a little excessive, granted Britney doesn't have to be there but still, she had her Louisiana license. That license is still valid. It's like they are still trying to get her for hitting the parked car after she already settled that charge with the owner.
I don't really get why she has to go to trial, since the standard fine is a fix it ticket and then proof that you have the new license. I know, I've had that ticket before. Where is my trial? I probably could have gotten out of it, had I gone to trial.
Anyhow, the judge says they don't want to give her any preferential treatment yet, he won't treat her like everyone else in his attempt to be fair. Me thinks someone doth protest too much.
