Australian rugby player Amos Roberts, 27, has welcomed his second child into the world, and it's a boy. Wife Zoe was a tad late on the delivery, so Amos wanted to induce labor. That way he could make the latest rugby match with his teammates of the Sydney Roosters. The Roosters? Really? That's the best name they could come up with?
Turns out inducing wasn't necessary since Zoe's water broke at the last second. Amos Roberts, Jr. came out just fine, weighing 9.5 lbs and measuring almost 21 inches.What a beautiful boy, eh?
As for making the plane to the match? Zoe put her foot down and told him he could leave the next day. Amos, being the smart man that he is, agreed. And thus a man's life was spared.
