There is a rumor running rampant on the internet that Oprah Winfrey was found dead in her Chicago home. According to one online account, Winfrey was found dead this morning at 8:21am and the news has not been reported by any mainstream media because police and the FBI are trying to keep it under wraps until further notice.
One report claims that Winfrey was found with a bloody area around her eye, a bullet wound in her stomach and various cuts and bruises.
(I know, this being FameCrawler we're only supposed to report on news related to celebrities and their families. But who doesn't think of Oprah as their second mother? This story totally belongs in our queue.)
So, is the rumor true, or just the media whipping itself into a frenzy and feeding off of the tragic news of the Travis Barker and DJ AM plane crash?
