Reports of Oprah Winfrey being found dead have swept the internet, although no reliable news organisations were being sourced. There's a reason for that: SHE'S NOT DEAD.
According to wikinews.org, it's part of an internet hoax that was either started by a group known as Anonymous or from a website 4chan.org. Either way, it's sick.
There are real stories of people dying, as we very well know and for people to make up stories that celebrities and/or their children and family members have died - those individuals have serious mental problems. We've had false reports of Lil' Wayne's 8-year-old daughter being killed, singer Dolly Parton dying from heart failure and just recently, Miley Cyrus was rumored to have been killed in a car wreck.
One person who claims to being a part of the Oprah death hoax, told Wikinews that it "was fun as hell" spending "all day /b/[4chan] photoshopping screenshots of news stories. She got what she deserved. She called anonymous a bunch of pedophiles. Believed a troll on her message boards."
Disgusting.
*Edit* Oprah attended the Emmy Awards Sunday September 21st - she's NOT dead.
