Steven Spielberg and Brad Pitt think alike. Could it be, because great minds think alike or because they are coming out together to help fight prop 8 in California?
Brad said that he is supporting efforts to defeat the bill, "because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though
they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life
they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination
has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against
Proposition 8."
Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw released a statement saying, ''By writing discrimination into our state constitution, Proposition
8 seeks to eliminate the right of each and every citizen in our state
to marry regardless of sexual orientation. Such discrimination has NO place in California's
constitution, or any other.''
Whatever the outcome of the bill, (I don't have a crystal ball) they are showing their philanthropic sides and standing up for what they believe in. It's a great example to set for their kids, to fight for what you believe in.
