Has rapper Eminem died in a car crash or is this another sick rumor started by someone online? And if it's a rumor, why do people start a story like that?
Apparently blogs are a blaze with reports of the singer dying in a car crash Sunday night. However, there are no credible news sources that are confirming such a story.
This isn't the first time that Slim Shady was reported dead - the same sort of story appeared back in 2000. The website Urban Legends had issued a statement, reading:
“We read on the Internet on Sunday, December 17 that Slim Shady, a.k.a. Eminem, died in a car crash at 2:30 in the morning. According to this article he was on his way to a late-night party and was drunk and high on drugs.”
According to this site, he's very much alive. Hopefully his family didn't hear of such rumors online!
