Country singer Mindy McCready is no stranger to trouble. She's been arrested for a variety of reasons in the past: prescription medicine abuse, DUI, identity theft, unlawful imprisonment, violation of probation, battery, resisting arrest...hell, I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. She is, in essence, the perfect country song. She's even attempted suicide.
Now she's going back to jail for another probation violation. The 32-year-old singer and mother of 2-year-old Zander Ryan McCready will voluntarily surrender to Tennessee authorities and sit in a cell for 60 days.
"I am working very hard to put all of this behind me," Mindy said, "so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain. I would like to thank my fans for their unwavering support as I continue to work on my recovery and to regain custody of my precious son, Zander."
Oh, hon, you're entertaining all right. Just not in a good way. But I'm sure of this...you're PERFECT for the country music industry.
