We told you about Hugh Laurie's family finally moving to the United States after staying in England for the first four years of "House." Hugh just bought a $4 million mansion earlier this month and someone already broke into the house and robbed it.
Laurie had his laptop and some other personal things stolen. Everyone is okay - Hugh and wife Jo were sound asleep when the burglars broke in. It's believed that the same group of thieves broke into other stars' homes, like Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, and studio boss Sherry Lansing, all who live near Laurie.
Police said, "The raid on Hugh Laurie was very similar to ones we have been investigating in that area. It is lucky that he did not disturb the burglars or we could have been looking at something much more serious."
Thank God everyone is okay. Hopefully, those punks will be caught soon.
