Ashlee Simpson, 23, is a grown woman, married and set to become a first-time mom but that doesn't stop the pop singer from sleeping with teddy bears! Cute or weird?
Simpson snuggles with hubby Pete Wentz but she also cuddles with an array of teddy bears. Fans, after hearing the news about Ashlee's pregnancy, have sent her oodles of teddies.
An insider said, "She has so many teddy bears and loves them so much she has filled her bed with them. It is a little crowded, but Pete gives in to whatever Ashlee wants. It is really sweet."
Sweet? Seems a bit silly to me but then again I'd prefer to cuddle up with Brad Pitt than bears. That's just me though.
Ashlee and Pete will welcome their first child next month and both are excited about that.
Simpson said, "We're getting the nursery ready. I can't wait to be a mom and he can't wait to be a dad, so it's fun. The baby is my main focus right now. This is definitely the happiest moment in my life."
I'm guessing once that baby arrives, Ashlee won't care much about cuddling her bears!
