Sarah Palin most def. did not THRUST her child into the spotlight. The media dragged her into it. Get your facts straight. Its shitty blogs like this one that are only making this UNIMPORTANT matter a huge scandal. Leave it alone. Worry about the election and leave the family out of it... last I checked Bristol Palin wasnt McCain's running mate. Therefore, no one should have to read about this.

Also, Stephanie, I would say Bristol Palin's pregnancy is pertinent because of her mother's policy views on abortion, sex education and contraceptive availability. Palin celebrated on a world stage her teenaged daughter's "choice" to keep her baby, but, if given a chance, would take away that right to choose from every other American woman.

Let's not forget she brought Levi Johnston to the RNC with the rest of her family for all the world to see. That was her choice and had nothing to do with the media urging it on. Please, Stephanie!!

If they lose the election I doubt there will even be a wedding.

They will never marry.  If they had wanted to marry they would have already.  Being pregnant never stops rednecks.  I will bet any one of you 100 dollars that they never marry.  I know couple who have 2,3 even 4 kids that are still engaged.  It is such a joke.  This is relevent to me since I dont believe in sex before marriage for teenagers.  Is this what sort of values this woman wants for the kids of this country?  If Clinton taught our kids how to give blow jobs what does Palin teach our kids?  

Actually, the pregnancy was well-known in Alaska, and it was commented upon when it suddenly "broke" to the rest of the world following Palin's VP candidacy. It wasn't a secret. After that, what would you do? Either let it be known and take the hard knocks or try to keep it secret and be accused of not supporting your daughter and being a hypocrite. And, by the way, while Sarah Palin is against abortion, she is not against having the choice to keep abortion legal made on a state-by-state basis rather than by federal court mandate that does not allow the people, you know, all of us, to make the decision.

Besides, why should those kids get married right away? She's six months pregnant. It's not like it's a shotgun wedding. I'd wait till I could wear something other than a tent for a wedding dress.

I predict a long and happy marriage.

It's Bristol's second baby, so there should definitely be a wedding BEFORE the election.  

It looks like there's a big disconnect between Ms. Palin's preaching and lifestyle.
