What's going on with Katie Price and husband Peter Andre? The reality TV British couple have been married for 3 years, and have three children (two together) but things haven't been going well according to pals. Their marriage is near collapse and they've been having nasty fights....
A friend told Closer mag, that Peter is tired of Katie putting him down. "Pete really has had enough. He's told her that unless she treats him with some compassion and like an equal then their wedding vows don't mean a thing."
The couple recently traveled to South Africa to renew their vows and maybe that was a last attempt at saving their marriage.
Peter, whose reality show with his wife is Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter, has said that he thinks they'd be happier without each other.
"One day, unfortunately, we will go our separate ways and we will probably be happier, but at the moment we're working hard to make this relationship work."
The celebrity couple seem happy in public, but reportedly argue a lot behind the scenes. Peter resents Katie because when she hit it big with her glamour girl "Jordan," she made no mention of his new project - a make up range for men. During an interview Katie was asked about it, to which she replied, "I've got no idea. When we're at home we don't talk about each other's work."
An insider told Heat magazine that their latest fights are "the most serious yet."
"We see all see how she treats him - and it's not nice. No one agrees with Katie, but we're all too afraid to say anything.
"She undermines Pete constantly. If he's talking about the world of showbiz, she'll say in front of other people: 'What do you know about that, Pete? I'm the celebrity.' "It's really embarrassing for him."
The source adds, "It's become really nasty and Pete doesn't know how to deal with her. She makes him feel like sh*t. He'll be getting ready and she'll say: 'What are you wearing that for.' "It really upsets him."
I've seen their show twice (big mistake and I want that time of my life back thank you very much) and Katie does come off a lot bit like a spoiled diva. It's a shame that their kids will have to pay the ultimate price if they split up.
Katie and Peter have also talked about wanting more kids - possibly adopting. I think that is maybe, a bad idea.
