Guess who is coming to NBC prime time come November? OK, the headline gave it away. Rosie O'Donnell has a deal with the Peacock network for a Thanksgiving special, says Michael Ausiello. It's going to be an hour variety show, possibly a pilot for a series, and it'll be called "The Man Show." What? That's been done? Oh, sorry, it'll be called "Rosie's Variety Hour."
Rosie described the show: "Old time variety, live from New York with a nod to Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett, and memories of Sonny and Cher." I hear she's going to do lots of giveaways, too, just like on her old show. This time she'll be giving out complimentary barf bags.
Can't wait.
Seriously. I'm setting my Tivo already.
