A Las Vegas jury found O.J. Simpson guilty Friday for robbing two Las Vegas memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room. The verdict came 13 years to the day after Simpson was acquitted for the murder of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in Los Angeles.

Simpson could spend the rest of his life in jail for kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges in the incident that took place in September of 2007. The Hall of Fame football star barged into a hotel room with a group of men and seized game balls, plaques and photos that Simpson claimed belonged to him.  Prosecutors said two of the men with him were armed and one of them said Simpson asked him to bring a gun.

Simpson was immediately taken into custody after the verdict was read.  In an interview on Thursday Simpson had implied that he expected to be found guilty and said that he was "afraid that I won't get to go to my kids' college graduations after I managed to get them through college."

I don't feel sorry for Simpson but I do feel for his four children, especially his two youngest children with Nicole, Sydney and Justin.  They will now not only have to see their father go to jail possibly for the rest of his life, but were only 6 and 9 when their mother was murdered by Simpson - I mean, an unknown assailant

Sentencing is set for December 5.

The defense attorney seems to be playing the retribution card as a substitute for the race card in this case. The inequities of the publics collective conscience has nothing to do with the particular felonies committed in this case. Why is the verdict in this case so enigmatic for so many Americans who simply can't surmount their affinity with "the juice"? Somewhere in that disturbed and sociopathic psyche of O.J. Simpson, is a man who was hoping he would in fact be arrested and imprisoned, this is my impression. Maybe now he can sleep soundly at night. Fiat justitia ruat caelum.

OJ shoud be disgusted with the way he has acted. He pulls off being acquitted of the most henous crime of the century. No that wasn't enough, he has to go out and prove he is some kind of hero. I do not feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for his family especially his children. My heart goes out to them. The saying is true, you can pick your friends but not your family. I bet they wish they could right now. God Bless the children in this Mess.

He had it coming. how can  anyone, I mean anyone walk freely knowing he brutaly killed two beautiful people,he is not normal. As the Goldmans say he is nothing but a skum bag and that is saying it mildly. I just love those jurors.  They couldn't have done a better job soooo quickly.

I hope this is overturned on appeal. getting back at him for an alleged crime is pathetic. this is a travesty of justice just as the original trial was.

I agree he is probly guilty of at least some of the charges but i fear that this will be criticized because of no blacks on the jury. I think he will appeal it and be vindicated on some if not all charges by using the race card. Just like if mccain wins the blacks will somehow use the race card

I agree with David.

Justice is served.

It was jury nullification the first time.

Perhpas it was jury nullification the second time.

But justice is served.

More power to the Goldmans for keeping pressure on the killer.  His anger and stupidity finally did him in.  Hope his children will be okay.  Unfortunately they are his victims also. So much sadness for so many people. He is evil personified.

It's possible that anyone else convicted of these crimes(kidnapping, etc) would get a lesser sentence, but anyone else wouldn't have killed two people in cold blood and gotten away with it

Though I feel O J was foolish doing what he did cause of who he is I dont think it is fair that he is punished now for what the courts aquitted him for in the past. Also I dont think it was the most henouse crime of the century(Hitler,Manson,Uni bomber, though a new century (9/11) Nicole Simpson was white that was the crime,America needs to face how predjudice it is because as horriable as America's has it now under the current rule(for 8 yrs)people still comment that they wont vote for Obama because he is black only (Backwards)

i think that the jury based their verdict on o.j. acquittal 13 years ago, and ir so, that was not fair. i thought o.j. was guilty 13 years ago, but the jury should not ever had that case with this. i dont think o,j, was guilty in this trial, and i dont think he should have a maximum sentences. those thugs that were witnesses were out to get him, because their deal was obstructed.i hope the sentence is lighter than what i think it will be

I think OJ was guilty both times. He lucked out and got off free the first time, this time he had to pay for what he did. BUT, I really do feel that the previous crime had a lot to do with his now conviction. He has it coming and that's a given, but this case was not the first case and should not have been judged as if it was.

I do feel that O.J. was guilty of killing his wife and Ron, but he was acquitted, probably to contain another LA riot, which would have indangered more innocent lives. I beleive he had an accomplise to the murders. And he will burn in hell for those crimes.

But he was clearly set up here, and was found guilty of the previous crime, which is no kind of justice. I think he should have gotten the death penalty in 1995. If we were in the same situation, we would want a fair trial. The mere fact that the tapes were sold for a large profit before being turned over to police is cause for suspicion and is also intrapment, which is also illegal. I hate the bastard, but lady justice was not served.

everyone seems to be convinced that he committed those murders in 95,the evidence does point to him,but what if he was set up to seem that he was the killer, his wife was a coke head an had oj pay her drug bill, untill oj finally said no,dont people think that those murders coulda been drug related,i mean think about it,does he really look like a guy who would murder the mother of his kids,an then continue to raise them.the media is had him guilty before he was tried, thats wats wrong with all of us,is everyone believes wat the media reports, those charges in nevada are kinda redicolous for wat took place, now he,ll probably get 20 yrs,an a child molester will get 1-2 yrs,wat an injustice, you got him vegas,be proud, just to think, the things that go on in vegas that most other states dont tolerate, vegas sucks

surrena,

maybe you should read some literature, i recommend "Outrage" by one of the best prosecutors of all time, Vincent Bugliosi, and read FACTS and EVIDENCE on the case and learn about O.J.'s violence filled past instead of making up your own scenarios and deciding what someone is capable of because "they don't look like" they would do it????   Those are honestly some of the dumbest comments I have ever heard.   And the last time I checked, armed robbery and kidnapping aren't 'kinda ridiculous' (guess your spelling should have tipped me off to your intelligence)

my intellegence is fine,im not trying to win a spelling bee here, what do call a violent past, fighting with your spouse, who doesnt.its very easy to get a label of a violent person, fighting with your spouse is way different than murder.an again, for what took place did not look like kidnapping an robbery to me.its obvious that they thru the book at him.,now check my spelling,ok

There's a new documentary out O.J. is Guilty But Not of Murder, The Overlooked Suspect by Phil Smith that will be screened Nov. 8 at Dallas Video Festival.

Internationally renowned private detective, William C. Dear, presents new evidence that he has uncovered in this documentary. This incredible story brings to light some of the pitfalls of a modern day police investigation, while it reminds us that sometimes what we think of as the truth, may not actually be the truth at all.
