Jason O'Mara, who has been in shows such as "The Agency," "Grey's Anatomy," and "The Bill," is starring in the American remake of "Life on Mars." Jason is forever grateful for being cast in "The Agency" because that's where he met his wife, Paige Turco. Together, the couple have a 4-year-old son, David. Wow, a normal name in Hollywood. Weird.
As with any parent, priorities change once there's a kid involved. Jason says, "It takes pressure off as an actor as well because it's not really about me anymore. And I want to be present for my wife and son, want to be around. I think that's what parenting is about, showing up and being there and listening."
Paige has done a lot of TV shows and movies, but to me she'll forever be April O'Neill in the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movies. Mmm, that's hot.
"Life on Mars" starts this Thursday night at 10pm Eastern. Looking forward to it. I love time travel stories.
