Lynne Spears is happy again. The last year and a half have been a mess for her family and it seems they're all on an upward climb instead of a downward spiral. Lynne says she's cherishing the "small things" with Britney's sons Preston and Jayden, taking them out for spins in her golf cart. She's also taking Jamie Lynn out for a clothes shopping trip with 3-month-old Maddie.
At last weekend's Mothers of Preschoolers annual convention in Texas, Lynne talked to over 4,500 mothers about the criticism she's faced for how she raised her children. She said, "I had a perfect little plan, but you can't control the kids' peers, you can't control society, and you do the best you can."
All she wants now is "smooth sailing for my children."
That's simple. Just keep the kids locked in the basement. It's worked wonders for me.
