Paris has given birth to a daughter! Oh, wait - no, not that Paris (sorry, didn't mean to scare you) - I'm talking about American Idol alum, Paris Bennett. Her little girl was born Monday afternoon in Minneapolis. And what did the 20-year-old new mom name her bundle of joy?
Baby Egypt was born at 3:36 p.m. (CST) and weighed in at 5 pounds 15 ounces - Paris was only in labor for five hours! That's pretty good for a first time mom.
Bennett said, "I'm so excited to finally see my little angel and man does she have lungs on her. I guess she's gearing up to be the next American Idol."
Paris' rep told Usmagazine.com: "The proud first time mother is doing well and recovering. Paris' mother Jamecia Bennett and her family is filled with excitement and welcomes their bundle of joy."
Bennett's new Christmas CD titled A Royal Christmas, will hit stores October 14.
