NASCAR driver Casey Mears is a brand new dad. His girlfriend, Trish Grablander, gave birth to daughter Samantha Mae Mears on Tuesday afternoon. Samantha weighs 8 lbs, 7 oz, and was 20-3/4 inches long. The announcement came on Casey's message board.
Casey's mom said, "Sam's middle name is after Grandma Skip, as her real name is Mae. Same has a lot of dark wavy hair and is just as pretty as she can be. Mom and Dad are doing fantastic. Nana and Papa are doing pretty well, too."
It's the couple's first child. Congrats to Casey and Trish. Great news.
