Well, there's no denying it now - Madonna and Guy Ritchie are ending their almost 8-year marriage and a spokesperson for Madge has released a brief statement.
"Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and-a-half years of marriage. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time."
The statement was also co-signed by Guy's rep. David Allison, a London attorney with Family Law in Partnership said, "The judgement of the court would be to try and assess what they came in with and divide what they built up fairly equally."
Madonna is currently in the middle of her Sticky and Sweet tour, playing Boston tonight and Guy Ritchie is on set of his new flick, Sherlock Holmes.
I just hope their kids will get through this okay. Divorce is hard enough on children, and with high-profile parents, it will be likely be more difficult at times.
