Britney's back baby! Spears has signed a deal with live entertainment company AEG to produce her spring 2009 world tour. Brit will be leaving the country in a few weeks to begin preparing for, what could be, the greatest pop career comeback of all time!
Britney has already started doing extra work on her dancing in preparation. A source said, "She will be leaving the country in the next few weeks. She'll train in privacy for a month, then go on a global tour."
The pop star last toured in 2004, to which she grossed more than $34 million according to Billboard Boxscore.
Britney's album Circus drops on December 2 and her newly released single Womanizer is projected to hit in the upper spots of the Billboard 100 this week. Her video for Womanizer premiered last week and it's got a lot of people talking!
And Spears will reunite with Aussie dancer Wade Robson for choreograph work for her return to the spotlight. Wade said, "She reached out to me and said she wanted to get the old team back together, so we'll go into rehearsals in January for a March start."
Robson said he watched Brit's self-destruction "with horror," but said, "when you exist in a warped world, warped things are going to happen to you."
I wonder if Britney will bring her boys on tour with her? Maybe Kevin will come and they'll be reunited as a family? One never knows!
