It was bad enough that Lynne Spears wrote a book - Through The Storm - about her oldest daughter Britney, and now, she's reportedly in talks to do a film version of it!
The book, which chronicles Britney's run-ins with booze, drugs, and teenage sex, might now be hitting the big screen. Insiders say that actress Anna Faris of Scary Movie and House Bunny fame is being sought after to play Britney, and Lynne would like Julie Roberts to play her role.
A friend said, "She's pitching the book around to studios. She even says she wants Julia Robers to play her. It's insane!"
Spears talks about Brit's underage drinking at 13, losing her virginity at 14, and her drug use by age 15, in the book.
This seems like a really bad idea, considering Britney and Lynne just recently began the process of mending their strained relationship. Brit's in a good place right now and why mess that up?
According to a pal, Britney said of her mom, "She will do anything to get herself more famous and make money off my name. It's just unreal. If I could cut her out of my life completely, I would."
Can't really blame her for that.
