Almost one month ago, Travis Barker walked away from the plane crash that killed four (and injured his friend DJ AM) and although he suffered second and third degree burns, the drummer has updated his blog and says he could be released soon! Travis said....

Here is what Barker wrote on his MySpace:
"Just another quick one to let everyone know that I think Im getting out of the hospital soon :) I can't wait to get out of here and be home with the babes. The doctors say Im healing up quickly and I'm gonna be out of here b4 you know it.
Game and Sticks stopped in to give their best wishes today...
Yoko from Matsuhisa (MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT!) brought some food in for us. She is such a sweetheart and so nice to take the time to bring me some rad food.
James, Skinhead Rob, my pops and aunt all stopped in again.
The staff here is THE BEST, but this is what I have to say to hospital life:"

UPDATED: Travis wasn't kidding when he said he'd be released soon! He's now on his way home to recover from his injuries and has asked that the public respect his privacy while he does so. Glad to hear he's on the mend!
