Super Left-Winger Alec Baldwin heaping praise on uber-mom Sarah Palin? WTF? Is the Earth going to reverse its rotation? Is Barbra Streisand going to french kiss John McCain? Is Tom Cruise going to get sucked up in some alien tractor beam and probed by aliens? OK, fine, that last one has probably already happened.
But yeah, Alec Baldwin politely acknowledged GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin's performance in last weekend's Saturday Night Live. "Palin came on to be a good sport," Alec said. "And she was. She was polite, gracious. More so than some of the famous actors who come through there, believe me."
He also says that Palin's appearance won't sway any voters. Those that think otherwise "have more contempt for the electorate of this country than the Republican National Committee does. And that's a lot of contempt." SNL exists only "to make people laugh. It's not Meet The Press."
In related news, nobody gives a damn what Alec Baldwin says. Except maybe for Arianna Huffington.
