While I normally kick it to Nickelodeon only for my Spongebob fix (what, you don't like Spongebob?) it turns out that they've accurately predicted the next President 80% of the time in the last 5 elections. And now Nickelodeon's Kids Pick the President has chosen Barack Obama for our next President of the United States.
The kid's network has been introducing children to the democratic process for the last 20 years and this year there were a record number of kiddie votes: over 2.2 million! Obama won over McCain by a vote of 51% to 49%. That's a pretty close vote.
I have a feeling it was due to Barack's "No Bratz Dolls Left Behind" policy.
On a side note, Barack has suspended campaigning for the next couple of days to go to Hawaii and be with his very ill grandmother. We all wish her well. Doesn't matter what side of the political fence you fall on, Grandmas trump everything.
