Country singer Tim McGraw knows about being a father to little girls. He has 3 daughters: Grace Katherine, 11, Maggie Elizabeth, 10, and Audrey Careoline, 6. And with his daddy experiences, he has cowritten a new children's book called "My Little Girl," now available in stores. The story is about a girl named Katie and her father, spending a day of quality time together.
Tim said he wrote the book after struggling to find stuff to do with his girls. If it was up to them, he says, they'd all be at the mall. The 41-year-old father advises, "Do what you have to do in your regular routine and take them with you. It makes all the difference in the world." His girls like doing the simple things...going to the post office or the grocery store with their dad.

"It's something that as a father you kind of have to sacrifice what you want to do, because boys do what you want to do. If I want to go to the farm and shoot guns or ride four-wheelers in the mud when it's 40 degrees...the girls aren't really interested in doing that."
Tim's wife, Faith Hill - another country superstar - wrote the forward for the book, but says that the couple's daughters really don't care about the book. "If it doesn't have Chris Brown or the Jonas Brothers involved, they don't care."
