X-Files star and recently admitted sex addict, David Duchovny, has completed rehab and although he and his wife announced their separation, he wants her back. He's reportedly begged Tea to work it out.
According to The Enquirer, David has been begging wife Tea to reconsider their relationship but she's refused. Duchovny is blaming actor Billy Bob Thornton after he discovered explicit text messages from him to Tea (the two are co-starring in Manure). Thornton has since denied any such messages, saying they are "just friends."
David and Tea have two children - Madelaine, 9, and Kyd, 6 - and he wants to salvage their marriage in part for the children. Tea and the kids had joined David on October 17 in Atlanta where he's filming The Joneses and he thought perhaps things were on the mend.
A source said, "Tea made it clear to David that she was in Atlanta only so the kids could see their father.
"They stayed in separate rooms at his rental home. At one point, David begged Tea not to go through with the divorce. But she refused, telling him, 'No, it's over.'"
A pal close to Duchovny said, "It was one of the worst weekends of David's life. He had to tell his kids that their mommy and daddy are going to split up for good."
Shame, that these two couldn't make it. But I feel for Tea - must be hard to be with someone who has such an addiction. Hopefully the kids make out OK through all of this.
