Nicole Kidman Says Childbirth Was Easy...Of Course It Was

Posted by Sassy Smith

Nicole Kidman gave birth for the first time in July, to daughter Sunday Rose, and the 41-year-old actress said, "Giving birth was easy."  The woman barely looked pregnant, then dropped what little baby weight she did have in about a millisecond and now she's saying that childbirth is easy.  That's it, I'm heading to Hollywood because these celebs sure have it good!

My friends and I must have done something wrong - I don't personally know anyone who has said that popping a kid out is "easy."  It hurts like hell - especially when you've not had an epidural - maybe that was my problem.  I never had one.  Well, I'm over it now anyway.

Kidman was terrified of delivering her first child with hubby Keith Urban, but everything turned out just fine.

Said Nicole, "Keith was my rock during childbirth.  I'd heard horror stories of 40 hours of labor (Uh, ya, those can be true - trust me), and I was sure that would be me, but I had a very easy labor.  And through it all, Keith's eyes gave me such strength."  Wow, her husband's eyes gave her strength - I just wanted to rip my husband's out.  But whatevs.

I'm sure there are regular women out there who've had super easy births too - I've not met one yet, but when I do, I'll let you know.

i get so annoyed that these women say this kind of crap. i mean she should have prefaced it with " i mean yeah it hurt like bloody bollocks and i wanted to kill everyone for a second there but compared to some other labors,' it was easy."

It depends on how many drugs they give you during labor.

Nicole doesn't seem like she lives on planet earth anyway.,...

She thinks it is easy cause the surrogate told her it was.  No way was this woman pregnant.  No woman who has ever really given birth says it is easy.  It is the most pain a human being can bear I have read.  Her husbands eyes?  What a load of baloney.

That baby was only 6 1/2 pounds because Kidman's constant excersing kept her own weight & the weight of the baby down.  Of cours it would be "easy".

I've had 3 babies, the smallest of whom was 8lbs 14oz.  All 3 were born without drugs.  At the time, it really and truly sucked (although, I must say, definitely less painful than when I compressed my spine and herniated 2 discs in my back).  However, almost immediately after all 3 births, I knew it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been.  As far as easy--yeah, well, I didn't have to think much and my body did whatever it needed to do, say, yeah, in a way it was easy.
