Amy Poehler is, like, one of my very biggest girl crushes. And when she did that rap? On that pre-election SNL episode? Mocking Sarah Palin while Sarah Palin sat right there? WHILE SHE WAS LIKE ELEVENTEEN MONTHS PREGNANT? That made me love her even more.
Now that the baby's here, she's no longer rappin' it up at SNL, but at least we can console ourselves with the knowledge that she's watching. And texting! Poehler's SNL costar Kenan Thompson told PEOPLE magazine that Poehler watches the show in bed with baby Archie (dad is comedian-actor Will Arnett), and sends the cast text messages.
Which, cool. Maybe she can send Seth Meyers some tips on how to be funny on Weekend Update.
