Sarah Palin might not have won the vice presidency but that doesn't mean she's not a hot commodity! From Washington to Wisteria Lane - the creators of Desperate Housewives are reportedly keen for the Alaska governor to join their cast....
According to Hal Lifson, Hollywood PR man (he's not involved with the show), Marc Cherry series creator, is "very hot to trot to have her appear on the season-five finale."
He adds, "Marc is hightly enamoured of Sarah and sees her as the ultimate guest star [playing] a similar version of herself."
Lifson told the New York Times, "The idea has gone over surprisingly well with execs at Disney, who see it as a blockbuster based on Sarah's huge ratings on Saturday Night Live."
An ABC rep said, "There's no truth to it," and Marc Cherry declined to comment. Oh that means it's true but they want to keep it a surprise! I think she'd be great on the show. 'Hockey mom hunter governor former vice presidential candidate' meets the women of Wisteria Lane - she'd fit right in.
