Madonna has apparently given Britney Spears marriage advice. I'm not sure Madge is qualified to do that. Not that Britney's marriage record is much better, but at least Brit isn't some angry, scary lady with arms that could crush a car.
Reportedly, after Brit and Madonna performed together a few days ago, the younger pop star asked the older pop star about men and marriage. Spears was married to Kevin Federline and they divorced in 2006 - they have two sons together. Britney also married school sweetheart, Jason Alexander (both were allegedly tipsy at the time) and they had their marriage annulled 55 hours later.
Madonna was married to Sean Penn back in the day and is now going through a divorce from her current husband, Guy Ritchie (and it ain't pretty). They also have children together (Madonna seems to forget that).
A source said, "Britney asked Madonna if she will ever marry again after her split from Guy. Madonna not only said she wouldn't, but told Britney to forget about marriage. She said it just doesn't work for girls like them."
The insider added, "Madonna clearly sees a lot of herself in Britney because she seems very eager to help her."
Uh, sure, they're both singers, performers, famous and have two marriages under their belts, but just because Madonna is a bitter women, doesn't mean she should project her anger on Britney. Britney's only 26, and has a good chance of finding love again - and possibly marrying! Step away from the pissed off Madonna, Britney, step away.
