Samantha Harris, host of "Dancing With the Stars," returned to the show just weeks after giving birth to daughter Josselyn Sydney, who just celebrated her first birthday. Samantha says her post-baby body is due to luck, nursing, and healthy living.
She was committed to an "intense and dedicated" exercise regime before she got pregnant. She says she refused to "eat for two" and that's a lot of what controlled her weight gain. "Hopefully that is what the key was to helping lose the weight afterward," Samantha says. "And Josselyn was very good to me through the pregnancy, so I didn't put on a lot of weight."
Samantha, 34, is really thankful for having such flexible hours on her jobs...she not only hosts DWTS, but also acts an an E! correspondent. This makes handling motherhood and work easier than it is for many. Josselyn often visits mommy on the set, and Samantha still finds time for a workout.
"I put her in the Bjorn in front of me and do stairs with her because I don't like to be without her, but I want to get my workout done."
