No spoiling for Malia and Sasha Obama! Just because they're the President's kids, doesn't mean they'll be catered to. First Mom Michelle Obama says her girls will still be required to do their chores once they make the White House their home.
Michelle told ABC News, that the White House staff will be expected to leave the girls' beds alone: "That was the first thing I said to some of the staff when I did my visit."
She added, "They said 'the girls, they're so great.' I said, 'you know, we're going to have to set up some boundaries, because they're going to be able to make their beds.'"
Mrs. Obama said, "That's going to be one of their goals. You don't make their beds. Make mine. But skip the kids. They have to learn these things."
Besides bed-making, Malia, 10, and Sasha,7, will be required to clean up their rooms and keep on top of their homework.
The Obama's want their girls to grow up in a "normal" way despite being the children of now-famous parents.
The girls will be the youngest kids to live in the White House since Kennedy was president in the 60s.
