Joel Madden To Make An Honest Woman Out Of Nicole

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are making plans to get hitched.

They want to get married on little Harlow's first birthday, January 11.  They want to get married on the day that celebrates her birth because they want her to know how much they love her.

Couldn't they just get married on a separate day and tell her that they love her? It's going to suck when she gets older and she has to share the day with her parents. She's going to want to go out on her birthday and her parents are going to want to spend it together, as a family- or vice versa.

Congrats to you, Joel and Nicole (and Harlow).

However, we could have decided not to and really it would not have changed anything about us as a family. I know I am not the only one in this situation, especially in this community.
