Angelina Jolie, during a London press conference for her film Changeling, became very emotional when talking of her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand. It's obvious that the 33-year-old actress is still grieving the loss of her dear mom, who passed away in 2007, after battling cancer for 7 1/2 years. The two were very close and Angelina often speaks very highly of her.

A friend of Jolie's tells OK!, "She has to keep it together for the sake of her kids, but she is only human and falls apart from time to time. She is still a mess over Marcheline's departure, believing no one understands her the way her mother did. They had a very strong bond that she feels she will never have with another person."
However, Angie has leaned on her partner and father of her children, Brad Pitt, for support. He's helped her through many dark times.
The pal said, "Brad has been her rock, and he will always be there for her. Without his love, she would never have been able to cope."
She also finds comfort from her six kids - Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, Zahara, 2, Shiloh, 2, and 4-month-old twins, Knox and Vivienne. Vivienne's middle name honors Marcheline.
The source added, "Mad tries to cheer her up and makes her laugh and smile. She feels like she is the most privileged woman to have such an incredible family and has said her mother is a guardian angel over her household."
