Nicole Kidman may have sang in the 2001 musical Moulin Rouge and she may have had a UK number one single with Robbie Williams called Somethin' Stupid, but she still refuses to sing in front of her husband Keith Urban for fear of being mocked by the country crooner.
Kidman, who is currently filming the musical movie Nine is too embarrassed to showcase her voice in front of her husband.
She said, "I will never, never sing in front of him. I wouldn't even play him the track of me singing. Sometimes I might hum in front of him but that's it. Keith is pretty touch with that kind of stuff. He's highly musical."
Nicole said she was very nervous about starring in Nine even though it's not her first musical.
"I'm only working a couple of weeks in it and it's so lovely to have this rapport with other women. And it's nice to be singing and dancing again, but I'm really nervous to do it. Because I've just had a baby your body can't do certain things.
"They've adapted certain things for me, and for having the baby around the set. I've had her there the whole time and she knows all the songs and has given them the thumbs up. Of course, with Keith, she's surrounded by music - she's very at peace with it."
Keith seems like a good guy - I can't imagine that he'd make fun of his wife's singing. Sure, she's no Britney - wait - you know what I mean, but she's not a bad singer. Way better than I am!
