Celebrities are sometimes, either loved or hated - and while it's certainly a person's right to like or dislike a particular celebrity, is it really necessary to create a specific group to post about your hatred? And what's worse - picking on the children of the celebrity. That's just not cool!
There's apparently anti-Kidman campaigns and groups on Facebook where people can discuss their dislike of the actress, who, I'm sure, they've never met. Sure, there are celebrities that I don't particularly like, but am I going to create a group to bash them? No, I've got better things to do - like take a nap.
There are groups titled "Am I Taking Crazy Pills or is Nicole Kidman the Worst Actress in the World?" "Nicole Kidman is Satan," and "I Hate Nicole Kidman."
One person wrote, "She is manipulative, calculating and two faced!" Another blogger wrote, "she has the emotional scope of a spoon and she's ugly."
She's also being trashed for her latest role in Australia. Others have called her "ice queen," and said her crappy acting was because of her "baby brain." Listen, having kids does suck some of your brain power out - I have four, so I should know, but that doesn't mean you become an idiot! Sure, I've run the washer without putting the laundry in it, but hey, it only happened three times. But I digress....
Some bloggers also put up a photo of Nicole, digitally enhanced to make her look 100 years old and some have even attacked her baby, Sunday Rose. Now that's low. Celebrities are fair game - personally, I'd never create a hate group, but hey, if that's your thing, whatever. But to pick on a child(ren), seriously, get a life.
Nicole Kidman isn't my favorite actress by any means but she seems like a nice woman, a loving wife and a wonderful mom.
