As we told you, Scott Ruffalo, brother of actor Mark Ruffalo, was shot in the head December 1 inside his Beverly Hills condo. He has, sadly, died from his wounds.
Ruffalo passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles late Monday night.
Suspect Shaha Mishaal Adham, 26, turned herself in to police on Monday and she is currently being held without bail. The attemped murder charge will likely be changed to murder.
Brian Burton Scofield, 29, who is a friend of Adham's is also considered a "person of interest." He's been booked with misdemeanor traffic violations.
Scott Ruffalo was born in Kenosha, Wis., and later moved to San Diego with his family. He was reportedly living alone in Beverly Hills at the time of the shooting, but was married to Luzelena Ruffalo and has a stepdaughter, Lucinda.
Mark Ruffalo has made no comment about the shooting.
Our hearts go out to the family during this difficult time. Losing a family member in such a violent way is tragic and during the holiday season makes it that much more heartbreaking.
