Nicole Kidman on Defying the Odds

They say every baby is a miracle and, with the case of Nicole Kidman's Sunday Rose, it's more true than ever. Nicole, 41, talked about her ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage on "The View" Friday, and revealed her odds for having a biological child were slim to none.

"I was told I had a 2% chance of getting pregnant," Nicole said. "So I say she's a 2% baby." Nicole is a mom to Isabella Jane, 16, and Connor Antony, 13, but when she talked about Sunday she teared up a bit. "Something happened to me when I birthed that baby, that's changed me," she says. "I had Bella and Connor when I was 25, and I think at 41 something happened."



She even puts her hand on Sunday's back at night to make sure she's breathing. "I'm kind of very, very raw and open...I'm fearful and all those things. I wake up going... is she okay?"

This is Sunday's first Christmas, and Nicole and husband Keith Urban have already started decorating the house. "Keith drove up the driveway the other day and burst out laughing, he said it looks just like Disney Land," she says. "But I just wanted it...little baby loves lights."

I guess those adopted kids don't count as much as the biological child. I find this woman increasingly repugnant. She has two other children but she seems completely oblivious to that. She's been a mother, allegedly, for years, but suddenly it's all new??

In her defence, Tom has acted the same regarding Bella and Conner too. And have you noticed how Shilo is dressed in angelic whites and beatiful clothes while Zhara only six months only is in more grungy garb?

The press is partly to blame too, the prices for the bio kids is much higher than for the adopted ones.

Chochomom is right. You hardly hear about Bella and Connor because the paparazzi rarely cover them. Sad, but photos of the biological kids are more valuable.

I agree Chochomom but there's another possiblity too - maybe Isabella and Connor have asked their parents NOT to talk about them - they're nearly 16 and 14, and you know teens, they probably want as much privacy as possible.  And while they were growing up a few years ago, paparazzi weren't as nuts about celebrity kids as they are now (but it is true, the media goes nuts for the bio kids over the adopted kids...sad).  However, having said that - it does bug me that Sunday Rose and Suri are "perfect" in their parents eyes but the adopted children are less than perfect? Both Nicole and Tom sort of give off that vibe. I have four kids and one of them is NOT my biological child - but if you met me or my kids, you'd not guess which one isn't blood related to me.  They're all equally loved regardless of blood ties.
