I'm fairly certain Nicole Kidman can afford a baby car seat for her daughter Sunday Rose. Sure, Nic only gets about $10 million a film now, but that's got to be enough dough to swing a seat for her baby. Remember when Britney drove down the freeway with little Sean P. on her lap? Well, Nicole might not be whipping down the freeway but she's in a vehicle with her daughter on her lap. That's a big NO-NO.
That is one of my biggest pet peeves - when parents don't properly secure their children, particularly infants, while riding in a motorized vehicle. I don't get why a parent would decide not to? In a rush? Not going far? Not going fast? Doesn't matter - buckle your baby. As a general rule, babies are to be in a rear-facing car seat until they're one year or reach 20 lbs. Last time I checked Sunday Rose hadn't even reached 5-months-old.
Seriously, I thought Nicole would be smarter than that!
