It's a touchdown - two, actually - for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb and his wife Roxie. They welcomed twins on Tuesday. The babies, a boy and a girl, are the couple's second and third children. They also have Alexis, their 4-year-old daughter.
"People talk about how family is the most important thing in your life and it is," Donovan said. "No matter what happens out on the football field, you always know that you go home to the loving individuals who just truly love you for who you are, not what you do."
The twins came just nine days after McNabb was benched for the first time ever, and right after the Eagles won an amazing victory over the Arizona Cardinals. In that game, Donovan tossed four touchdown passes.
Mommy and babies are perfectly healthy. Perhaps we'll get the twins' names later on. For now, Donovan and Roxie are staying mum on that.
Congrats, you two!
