Julia Roberts Doesn't Shower...Much

Posted by Sassy Smith

Actress Julia Roberts likes to keep things simple.  Hey, with three kids I get wanting to keep things simple.  Last year, during her appearance on Oprah's show, she mentioned she didn't wear deodorant, saying "it's not her thing."  Uh, well, to each their own.  However, she's a bit beyond keeping things natural, according to her former bodyguard.

Times of the Internet says that Roberts' former bodyguard told them, "Julia is a total hippie.  She'll go days without showing.  She likes the smell of her natural oils."  Days?  Days. Without. Showering.

Maybe she's trying to save money in these fragile economic times.  Perhaps she's planning on paying for all three kids' college funds and needs to cut corners wherever possible.  I mean a few million clams per movie doesn't go far these days.  Plus, she's totally into being green and doing things for the planet, so she's wafting in her own scent for the good of the earth.  I wonder how often she baths her kids?

Excuse me, I need to go shower.

I think it is really dumb when people dont bathe by choice.  Bathing is healthy.  It removes dead skin cells, body insects, germs, fungus, bacteria, cold and flu bugs.  It is the hallmark of a healthy society.  The people who bathe the most live the longest - the Japanese, who often bathe twice a day and have words devoted to different types of bathing and baths.  In the words of my mom, if it stinks that means you're smelling bacteria growing. Think about that next time you catch a whiff of Stoner Julia's pits.

This is a little silly - clearly she bathes, just not every day.  I don't bathe every day either.  I don't have the time and I don't think it's necessary.  Every other day is fine.  I'm a perfectly healthy person.  To each his own, and you know, there are actually people who don't wear deoderant and also don't smell completely offensive - it really is possible.
