The holidays are no time for fighting. Oh, who am I kidding? Some of the best fights all year take place during the holidays. But after lots of arguing over who gets the kids for Christmas, Madonna and Guy Ritchie have decided to bury the hatchet (for now). No matter how much they can't stand each other with all the divorce proceedings, Guy and Madonna will spend Christmas together in England for the sake of their kids.
Madonna wanted to spend the holiday in New York City with daughter Lourdes and sons Rocco and David. However, Guy said no to that, asking for the boys to join him in the UK. I guess it's a Christmas miracle, since finally they're thinking of their kids first.
A source says, "The plan is for them to be together on Christmas Day at their estate in Wiltshire Ashcombe House. Madonna arrives in England on December 23rd and is planning to stay for Christmas."
"Because of what the kids have been through this year he wants to treat them to a really special Christmas with stockings of presents and a big tree. He is planning on having a traditional turkey dinner - although all the food will be organic at Madonna’s insistence."
"Madonna is aware that she has come out worse than Guy as far as coverage of the divorce is concerned and she didn’t want headlines about them rowing over the kids
and Christmas. She has decided to be the bigger person and bring the kids home to Guy. Madonna doesn’t really like Ashcombe but she thinks it’s important that they put on a united front for the kids. She will, however, be eating a different meal as she will only eat fish. She will also be working out on Christmas Day."
Really? Madonna, working out? Who knew?
