Suri Cruise, according to her proud daddy Tom Cruise, is a genius! She's apparently talking up a storm and Cruise loves to brag up his little girl.
Cruise said of Suri, "Her vocabulary is incredible." But he says his favorite words are the simple ones. "I love hearing 'I love you, dada,' or 'I love you, mama.'"
Tom is enjoying the time he gets to spend with Suri while his wife Katie Holmes is busy working her Broadway show All My Sons.
"I just love every moment. We've got the teenagers and I've got the two-and-half year old and to have that I feel lucky."
The 46-year-old actor recently walked the red carpet for his movie Valkyrie sans Katie but he said their marriage is stronger than ever.
"It doesn't take a lot of effort with her. Like tonight, everyone is asking, 'Where's Kate?' She is hosting the family and the friends tonight."
And Cruise is still very much a romantic. He adds, "I leave flowers in her dressing room all the time. I write little love notes... wishing her well."
Speaking of Valkyrie, what did Suri think of her daddy wearing an eye patch? Not much at first!
Sometimes Suri would join her dad on set, which she adapted to quite easily. Tom said of the eye patch, "Suri would come up to me and take it off. So the girls in the makeup trailer got a little teddy bear with a patch on it and gave it to her and so she would play with it. That she would get used to the fact it was on me."
Suri would love to watch the action. "She'll watch the monitor and talk," said Tom.
Would Tom mind if his little girl followed in his footsteps? Not at all!
He said, "I would love that. Acting, that's what I love. It's a great life."
